In the mid 1980s, Stephen moved into marketing, including two years as a Senior Marketing Consultant for CURM, Commercial Union's Risk Management consultancy.In 1989, he was appointed head of marketing at National Mutual, the Pensions Specialist, where he was responsible for:
- Product development
- Product marketing
- Marketing services
- Corporate communications.
He left in 1998 to start a marketing consultancy dedicated to the needs of insurance and financial services professionals.
A Chartered Insurer and graduate of the Open University, Stephen is an experienced presenter, as well as a regular contributor to the financial services trade press. His nine years as a senior manager of a life office, together with extensive experience of general insurance makes him ideally suited to take on projects that not only encompass traditional insurance and financial services, but also those where interdisciplinary skills are required.
Stephen was President of the Insurance Institute of Northampton for the 2001-2 season and is now an active Vice-President.
